You don’t have to look alike to be best friends! That’s what Three Friends has to teach children. Peacock is proud and a little vain, but his friends accept him for who he is. Elephant worries and never forgets a thing, but his friends help him remember to have a good time. Tiger has a wild streak, but her friends are always there to lend her a hand. Together, these three very different friends always have a good time, even when they’re just enjoying a sunny day by the water.

This colorful illustration was made using Adobe Illustrator. The landscape is kept simple to draw the eye to the characters, but the presence of the houses in the background gives the feeling that this is still a real spot out in some distant countryside.

I use Photoshop or Corel Painter to get the ideas down then either Corel Painter or Adobe Illustrator to complete.
